A sinkhole has developed along the left side of Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 284 in Shenandoah County. The left travel lane is closed.

The right lane of northbound Interstate 81 in Rockingham County will be closed overnight Sunday, April 12. The location is near mile marker 248.8 at the bridge carrying Route 720 over the interstate north of Harrisonburg.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is scheduled to close part of Interstate 64 in Augusta County on April 6 and 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The closures are for bridge work between mile markers 89 and 93 in the Fishersville area.

Route 250 (Mountain Turnpike) in western Highland County will be closed to commercial truck traffic March 23-27 during repairs to a rock retaining wall.

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close the northbound left lane and left shoulder of Interstate 81 in Augusta County from about 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, until 6 a.m. on Monday, March 16.
