Woman held in Mount Solon shooting

Mount SolonA Mount Solon woman is in custody after allegedly shooting a neighbor following a neighborhood dispute on Thursday.

Mary F. Puffenbarger, 68, is being held without bond on charges related to the shooting of an unidentified 40-year-old male that was reported at 6:22 p.m. Thursday, according to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.

The male was shot in the leg, and was transported to Augusta Health for treatment for the non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
