Waynesboro will host a Pink Floyd tribute band for a 50th anniversary celebration of Wish You Were Here on Saturday night.

Floydian Trip will make its Virginia debut at The Foundry at Basic City Beer Co. with a one-night-only tribute to Pink Floyd’s classic-era sound starting at 8 p.m.

The Connecticut-based group, known for detail-driven recreations of Pink Floyd’s legendary tours, will feature a full performance of the album, along with fan favorites drawn from The Dark Side of the MoonAnimalsThe Wall and more.

“Playing Pink Floyd in a new town is never casual,” said Adam Clymer, drummer and founder of Floydian Trip. “You’re walking in with a legacy on your shoulders — and your only job is to do it justice.”

Formed in 2022, Floydian Trip is a seven-member tribute band dedicated to recreating the energy of Pink Floyd’s classic tours.

The group has recently sold out shows at The Milton Theatre in Delaware, The Glove Theatre in New York, Tupelo Music Hall in New Hampshire and The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Connecticut.
