Waynesboro Public Library takes part in Digital Learning Day

library-main2On Wednesday, Feb. 6, Waynesboro Public Library is joining with the Alliance for Excellent Education and everyone with a stake in improving the nation’s education outcomes for the second annual national Digital Learning Day—a day of events that shines a spotlight on successful instructional technology practice.

Join the library for an “open computer lab” to see our new computer training facility where computer literacy classes are taught. A number of training sessions will also be available throughout the day. The schedule is as follows:

9 a.m.—Computer Literacy
10 a.m.—Internet Savvy
1 p.m.—Freading e-books
2 p.m.—OverDrive e-books and e-audiobook
3 p.m.—the Word about Word
4 p.m.—Excel with Excel

For those who can’t make it on February 6, WPL also offers one-on-one help by appointment and rotating classes on computer basics, Excel, Word, and Internet basics on a rotating basis on Thursday mornings.
