Milling and paving work will begin on Monday in the City of Waynesboro, and will continue through the end of the month.

The daily milling schedule will be posted on Facebook.

Work on Monday, July 14, will be on:

  • Hopeman Parkway end to end
  • King Avenue to Hopeman Parkway
  • Solutions Way from Concord to end
  • Peach Street from end to Maryland Avenue

Once the asphalt is removed (a process called milling), the contractor is required to repave within 48 hours any arterial road sections (example: Broad Street, Delphine, Main Street), that are rough. For all other roads, the contractor has four days to complete the paving work.

The response time may be delayed due to weather conditions or shortages in materials and/or equipment.

You can follow the progress of the milling and paving work online.
