We’d already been told about the name opponents on the 2025-2026 UVA Basketball nonconference schedule. Now we have the guarantee games.
Virginia, in Year 1 of the Ryan Odom era, hosts Rider (Nov. 3), NC Central (Nov. 7), Hampton (Nov. 11), Marshall (Nov. 15), Queens (Nov. 28), Maryland Eastern Shore (Dec. 9) and American (Dec. 22).
The home game of note is Maryland on Dec. 20.
The ACC schedule hasn’t been announced yet.
The games that we knew about include Northwestern (Nov. 21) and Butler (Nov. 23) at the Greenbrier Tip-Off in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Dayton (Dec. 6 in Charlotte) and Ohio State (Feb. 14 in Nashville) and at Texas (Dec. 3) for an ACC/SEC Challenge game.
