The ’Hoos (19-4) were coolly efficient on offense – getting their 10 runs on seven hits, four walks, two hit batters, and three Wake Forest (16-6) errors.
UVA took the lead at the outset with a five-run bottom of the first, powered by a leadoff homer from Becker, his fourth of the season, and a two-run double from Didawick.
Zatkowski entered the game in the second, after Virginia coach Chris Pollard went with Kyle Johnson for an inning as his opener.
Johnson struck out two in a 1-2-3 first.
Zatkowski (4-0, 5.58 ERA) gave up three runs, two earned, on five hits in 5.1 innings, striking out seven and walking two.
