Under investigation: Man admitted to Lynchburg General Hospital with gunshot wound

A man is being treated at Lynchburg General Hospital for a gunshot wound, and the incident is under investigation.

The adult male arrived at the hospital with the non-life-threatening gunshot wound at 3:39 a.m.

At this time, the location and circumstances of the incident remain unknown.

Preliminary information indicates that there is no ongoing threat to the community, according to a statement from the Lynchburg Police Department.
