Temporary water cutoffs to affect some Waynesboro neighborhoods on Friday

Contributors

waynesboro2editsOn Friday, weather permitting, the City of Waynesboro Water Division will be temporarily shutting off water service from midnight-4am for the installation of a new 8” feeder line to the existing water system at the intersection of West Main Street and Pelham Drive.

This temporary shut off will affect a large area of approximately 1,200 residents and some businesses, and is being performed during  night hours to cause the least disruption possible to customers.

The following areas will be affected:

  • Entire Pelham Drive area (including some businesses from city limits of West Main Street to Stonewall Drive)
  • Charleston Park
  • Hopeman Station
  • Iris Drive
  • Tomasville Drive
  • Ana Marie Estates
