Route closures for Charlottesville Area Transit on Saturday

charlottesville area transit2Due to a temporary road closure, Charlottesville Area Transit’s (CAT) Routes 4, 6, and 9 willdetour Lane Road near UVA’s Hospital on Saturday, September 6.

Routes 4 & 6 will travel north on Roosevelt Brown Blvd., take a left onto Crispell Drive, continue straight onto Lee Street, and turn right onto Jefferson Park Avenue. Route 4 will follow this pattern in both the outbound and inbound directions.

Route 9 will travel south on Roosevelt Brown Blvd., take a right onto Crispell Drive, continue straight onto Lee Street, and turn right onto Jefferson Park Avenue.

Passengers who typically wait at the Jordan Hall and UVA Hospital bus stops on Jefferson Park Avenue will need to wait at the University Transit Service’s (UTS) bus stop on Lee Street. This only applies to passengers waiting for these specific routes.

The detour is expected to last all day.
