Orioles blasted by Red Sox, 7-0

The Baltimore Orioles didn’t avail their slim playoff hopes well in a 7-0 loss at Boston on Friday night.

Rich Hill (2-0, 1.17 ERA) threw a complete-game two-hitter for the Red Sox, striking out 10 and walking one.

Kevin Gausman (3-7, 4.49 ERA) took the loss for the O’s, giving up five runs on five hits in five innings of work.
