Off-ramp closure at Exit 283 on Interstate 81 on July 6

The southbound off-ramp for exit 283 (Woodstock) along Interstate 81 in Shenandoah County is scheduled to close during the early-morning hours of Wednesday, July 6. This closure is for paving operations between 12 midnight and 5 a.m. The southbound on-ramp at exit 283 will remain open.

Southbound I-81 motorists can access exit 283 by continuing south to exit 279 (Edinburg) and then following northbound I-81 back to exit 283. Signs and variable message boards will direct drivers on the detour route.

All work is weather permitting.
