By the way, no, I don’t think our show, broadcast live on national TV from Augusta Expo, was the “worst wrestling pay-per-view ever.”
I wrote the book after stumbling into a few negative reviews of the show years later, and wanted to tell the inside story.
Which I was privy to, because, and it seems like a past life to me now, I was one of the principals in terms of putting the show together.
We didn’t give ourselves titles, but if we had, I would’ve been one of the executive producers, since it was myself and Marvin Ward, a local promoter, who booked the show, came up with the storylines, and were in charge of things backstage.
Where things got out of our control was …
That’s the story that I tell in the book.
We’re 15 years since a live nationally-televised wrestling pay-per-view was broadcast from Augusta County.
No matter what I do the rest of my life, this is in the Top 5.
