Local Vocals tune WTA’s Gateway

The acoustic trio Local Vocals will bring their vocal stylings to WTA’s Gateway on Friday, June 22. WTA’s Gateway is the ideal setting for the trio’s tight three-part harmonies that have gained them a following throughout Central Virginia. The acoustic performances is schedule for 8 pm in Downtown Waynesboro.

Local Vocals consist of Cindy Perfater, former lead singer with Charlottesville’s Houserockers Band, Pat Burns guitarist/vocalist formerly with the The Kool Katz and City Lights; and Mike Perfater guitarist/vocalist the founder and leader of The Houserockers Band.

The trio will perform a wide variety of traditional acoustic rock of the Eagles, Croby, Stills & Nash, America and Jimmy Buffett along with selections from The Beatles, Creedence Clarwater Revival, and Linda Ronstadt. Altogther they perform ambitious ‘unplugged’ versions of pop and rock groups whose music spans six decades.

Tickets for the June 22 event are $10 and may be purchased online at www.wtagateway or at the box office. Snacks and beverages are available.
