Staff Report

A Golden Duck Productions presentation of Lost in the Woods, featuring Red Riding Hood and Hanzel and Gretel, will begin at Theater at Lime Kiln in Lexington tonight and run this weekend and next weekend.

The staging of the show will feature the artistic stylings of legendary Shenandoah Valley artist Mark Cline, who is creating an Enchanted Kiln to bring Lost in the Woods to life.

The play runs at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16-18 and Oct. 23-25. At 6:30 p.m. each night this week, children will be invited to decorate their own personalized pumpkins to leave as set dressing at Lime Kiln or take home with them. At 6:30 p.m. in advance of next week’s shows, Lime Kiln will play host to costumed trick-or-treating.

Tickets for Lost in The Woods are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for students. Children six and under are admitted free of charge with an adult.

For information and tickets by phone, call Lime Kiln Arts at 540.463.7088. To purchase tickets in person, go to the Lexington-Rockbridge Visitors Center or Rockbridge Music.
