JMU, VMI cancel baseball game

Chris Graham

jmu logoThe James Madison baseball team has cancelled its matchup against VMI, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m., due to ice on the field following this week’s winter weather.

Following a series of postponements due to the weekend’s storm, the Dukes are now scheduled to open their home schedule against Quinnipiac this weekend, Feb. 27-March 1, with a four-game series. JMU will face the Bobcats at 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, before wrapping up the series with a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday afternoon.
