Morrell was signed to the buffalo bills practice squad. An undrafted free agent originally signed after the draft by the Detroit Lions, Morrell was released right before training camp but was picked up by the St. Louis Rams.  Morrell was one of the Rams’ final cuts before signing with the Bills on Monday.

Morrell was a two-year starter at both right guard and tackle for the Monarchs, starting 25-straight games.

The Bills play at Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 7 in the season opener.
