Food Bank welcomes new director of development

The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank announces today the hiring of Todd Lilley as a Director of Development. Lilley will work with businesses and individuals in the Central Shenandoah Valley and Winchester to develop lasting partnerships and fundraising support of the Food Bank’s mission.

Lilley brings to the Food Bank 12 years of experience in development, fundraising and board development. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Bridgewater College.

Prior to joining Bridgewater College, Lilley served as Vice President for Development at Bridgewater Retirement Community, Associate Director of Development and Community Relations at Eastern Mennonite University and Development Officer for the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Lilley earned his bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development from Eastern Mennonite University and his master’s degree in religion and leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Liberty University.

Lilley is senior pastor at Mount Olivet Church in Mt. Solon, Va. and serves as adjunct faculty in EMU’s Adult Degree Completion Program. Lilley currently serves on the board of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic, the emu Alumni Council and he is a member of the Shenandoah Chapter of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, where he has served as board member and Chapter President. In addition, Lilley is a former member of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce’s executive board of directors. He resides in Bridgewater with his wife and two children.
