“This is one of the many ways we’re focusing on partnering with our tourism operators to reinforce the City of Waynesboro as an outstanding destination for guests and a great place to live, work and play. Offering unique events for our citizens and introducing new visitors to our amenities is a top priority, and we want to ensure that the organizations responsible for coordinating local events and festivals have the support they need to offer enhanced services and promotions,” says Jenny Carter, Assistant Director for Economic Development and Tourism. “We’re excited to see the creative ideas and unique events these organizations will be submitting for consideration.”
