I put up a bird feeder a couple of weeks ago. Hard to keep it full. Apparently Wb has a healthy bird population.
Am I the only person who thinks they’re making too big a deal about the new SC nominee?
Spent Memorial Day at Sherando Lake. Had KFC for lunch, hiked the lakeside trail, walked up to the overlook. Very relaxing.

Have a new book in the works. (Writing phase.) A takeoff on “Field of Dreams.” Involving dirt-track racing. Quite sacrilegious.
My grandmother died in January. I miss her greatly. She was the only sane person in my DNA pool. (Yours truly included.)

Valley League baseball is nine days away. I get to come up for air in August.
McAuliffe by 10 over Deeds and 14 over Moran. Wagner beats Signer by 20. Turnout – 7 percent statewide, 3 percent in the Valley.
It rains all the time, and the weatherman still tells us we’re behind on precipitation. Compared to when? The year Noah built his ark?
