Bad Bunny will take the stage in the U.S. for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX halftime show on Feb. 8, 2026, which will air on NBC and Peacock.

The news comes after Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who performs as Bad Bunny, told  i-D that he would not be bringing his Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour to venues in the U.S. out of concern that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents might conduct raids outside his concerts.

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate. I’ve performed there many times,” he said in an article in i-D.

“There was the issue of, like, f***ing ICE could be outside.”

The upcoming tour has 56 shows and will start in the Dominican Republic and end in Belgium.

Ahead of the official announcement, Bad Bunny posted to X on Sunday that he would do one show in the U.S., leading to speculation that it could be the halftime show.

“I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after talking with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States,” he wrote.

The 60th Super Bowl will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

It was rumored that Adele and Taylor Swift had been offered the opportunity but both declined.

Swift is set to release a new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Oct. 3. A companion film will also have a limited run in U.S. theaters Oct. 3-5. The approximately 90-minute film will feature the premiere of “The Fate of Ophelia” music video along with behind-the-scenes footage and commentary.

The previous Super Bowl featured Kendrick Lamar with guest performers SZA and Serena Williams.
