Author Marietta McCarty toasts August in Kentucky and its topic in The Philosopher’s Table: “What About Love?” at Champion Brewing Company in Charlottesville on Sunday, Aug. 10, from 5-7 p.m.
Her interactive talk will begin at 5:30 and ongoing conversations can spill outside to picnic tables or continue indoors.
JM Stock Provisions will offer locally-sourced food for purchase.
Champion is located at 324 6th Street SE in Charlottesville. Plenty of parking is available in adjacent lots as well as on the street.
Marietta’s three books will be available for sale and signing.
