AAA LogoAAA Mid-Atlantic praises Virginia lawmakers in both the House and Senate for their tireless work and collaboration to pass bills that strengthen Virginia’s current ban on texting while driving.

“Today lawmakers took a bold step forward in the fight to dramatically reduce the dangerous activity of texting behind the wheel,” said Martha Mitchell Meade, Manager of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “Lawmakers are sending a clear message to Virginia drivers that texting behind the wheel will not be permitted and those who break the law will now be stopped and face more severe consequences.”
