Waynesboro: Bad weather forces cancellation of Library Foundation fundraiser

The Waynesboro Public Library Foundation fundraiser set for Friday and Saturday in the Kroger parking lot has been canceled due to bad weather in the forecast for the next two days.
The Foundation was going to operate a hot-dog stand at the Kroger on Arch Avenue Friday and Saturday to begin its campaign to raise money to augment the city taxpayer money that has been earmarked for a library expansion.
The fundraiser will be rescheduled.
