National Park Service officials announced today the temporary closure of Price Park Picnic Area at Milepost 297 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The closure is scheduled from April 22 through April 25, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
This area will be closed to all activity (cars, bicycles and hikers) in order to safely and efficiently repair large potholes and address other needed pavement maintenance.
Hikers are reminded to access area trails from other local parking areas.
