What Augusta Free Press Does For: Mathers Construction

Chris Graham

Mathers2Mathers Construction in Waynesboro, Va., has been a client of Augusta Free Press since 2010. The first project that Mathers and AFP collaborated on was a new website for the construction company, which was founded in 1948.

The website includes an extensive project gallery featuring more than 100 commercial construction and industrial services projects completed by Mathers Construction across Virginia.

The site is updated frequently with a Plan Room section that the company uses to communicate with subcontractors on upcoming bid projects.

AFP project manager Chris Graham works with staff at Mathers Construction to keep the Plan Room updated with the latest projects that are up to bid.

In addition, AFP manages communications for the Valley Gives Back campaign through which Mathers Construction works to raise dollars and food for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

Other services provided by AFP for Mathers Construction include:

  • Print ads including UVA baseball program and highlighting Homestead renovations, among others
  • Brochure highlighting mission, vision, projects, leadership and more
  • Email banners for employees
  • Eblasts
  • Maintain email list and designed email newsletters
  • News releases and press conferences
  • Logo development for subsidiary companies included Bottom Alley Development and Legacy Group Holdings
  • Business Card Designs
