VMI places 22 in summer baseball

Chris Graham

vmiTwenty-two VMI Keydets will play summer baseball in leagues stretching through half the country.

The Keydets will send the majority of their players who are scheduled to return in 2017 to various summer leagues, including some familiar locations. Seven Keydets will play in the Coastal Plains League, including Nathan Eaton and Josh Winder, who will play for the Peninsula Pilots. Other players will journey considerably farther, including Matt Dunlevy and Jacob Jaye, who will play in the Hamptons League, and two VMI pitchers who will play in the Texas Collegiate League. Brandon Barbery and Liam Roden are all slated to play in that league, while Ryan Smoot will also journey to the midwest to play for the Haysville Aviators of the Jayhawk League and Austin Rash will play for the Arlington Aces of the Great Southwest Collegiate League.

Glenn Youngkin desperately wants a job in the Trump regime, for a reason that I can’t put my finger on: Youngkin has a net worth of $400 million, most of that his equity in the ghastly private-equity firm he led before he ran for governor in 2021.
