The VMI baseball team announced Monday that a game has been added to the schedule and the Keydets will host Marshall University Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Gray-Minor Stadium.

Both teams have had games cancelled earlier in the 2019 campaign and were not scheduled to compete until the weekend.
VMI and Marshall each have played Binghamton University over the last two weekends. Marshall split a pair of games March 1-2, while the Bearcats took three from VMI March 9-10.
The Thundering Herd has a 45-33 record all-time against VMI. The last time the two teams played on the diamond was in the 2008 season.
