“The proclamation signifies the grassroots contributions of Chapter leaders across the state who are involved in making a difference,” said Harrisonburg Chapter leader Stan Maclin. “I’m committed to Virginia Organizing because we give women and men, young and old, an opportunity to get involved and grow into community leaders. This is why we celebrate the proclamation. ”

Virginia Organizing Chapters across the Commonwealth are celebrating the 20 years of grassroots organizing for social change throughout 2015.
