VIP event with Doug E. Fresh at Richmond Flying Squirrels game on July 4

The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, announced that rap artist and legendary entertainer Doug E. Fresh will make a celebrity appearance at The Diamond on July 8 during the Squirrels game against the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals).

Mr. Fresh, the first human beat box in the rap world, will entertain fans in his trademark style. Doug E. will throw out a ceremonial first pitch as well as sign autographs for fans on the concourse during the game. He will also be available for a special VIP meet and greet session and buffet before the game.  Doug E. joins an already action packed July 4^th homestand that includes Independence Day fireworks on July 4^th & July 5^th as well as a Hunter Strickland Bobblehead giveaway on Tuesday, July 7^th.

“It’s an honor to have the original human beat box join us at The Diamond,” said Squirrels VP & Coo Todd “Parney” Parnell. “I’m looking forward to going back in time wih Doug.E. Fresh and then I want to teach him how to Parney!”
