Ryan Odom, the new UVA Basketball coach, announced three hires to his coaching staff, all guys from his recent staff that just won the A-10 title at VCU.

Odom is bringing Bryce Crawford, Matt Henry and Darius Theus with him from his VCU staff, a day after it was formally announced that former Longwood head coach Griff Aldrich will serve as his top assistant.

These moves leave one full-time assistant spot open, along with spots on Odom’s support staff.

Before you ask, no, I don’t know who is in line for any of those still-open jobs.

Crawford and Henry have been with Odom since his UMBC days and were with him for his two-year stint at Utah State.

Theus, a VCU alum who was a member of the 2011 Final Four team, was an assistant at his alma mater from 2018-2022 before spending a season at Siena ahead of returning to VCU with Odom in 2023.
