UVA Baseball: ‘Hoos begin weekend series with FSU on Thursday

uva baseballUVA Baseball (22-16, 8-10 ACC) will host Florida State (22-13, 10-8 ACC) in a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. at Disharoon Park. The entire series will air live on ACC Network Extra and can be heard on WINA 1070 AM/98.9 FM.

Game Coverage: ACC Network Extra is available to authenticated subscribers of ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. All three games can be heard locally in Charlottesville on WINA 1070 AM/98.9 FM and anywhere on WINA.com. Weekend Promotions

Friday (April 19)

  • “Angels in the Outfield Night” – will feature themed promotions around the movie’s 25th anniversary.

Saturday (April 20)

  • Kids 12 and under can run the bases after the conclusion of the game and participate in an on-field autograph session with members of the Virginia baseball team (weather permitting). The fourth set of Virginia baseball trading cards will be available at the marketing table while supplies last.
  • Ty Jerome, member of the 2019 Virginia National Champion men’s basketball team, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
