The city has launched a community survey for all residents to weigh in.

Topics include:

  • Safety and emergency preparedness
  • Roads, sidewalks and infrastructure
  • Transportation and mobility
  • Parks, recreation and public spaces

The survey was first sent to 3,000 randomly selected Staunton households. The current phase allows all residents to participate so every voice can be heard.

The survey will remain open through Nov. 11.

Results are expected in early 2026.

Beauregard said the city plans to conduct the survey every other year.

The survey is being conducted through a partnership with Polco and the National Research Center.
