Update: Staunton Police investigating armed robbery

policecar3The Staunton Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Little Caesars, 2300 West Beverley Street at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Employees of the business reported that an unknown black male entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a light gray or tan hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.

The Department is also trying to identify a witness that was inside the business when the armed robbery occurred. The witness is described as a black male, stocky build, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540-332-3842 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-322-2017.

 

WITNESS4 (002)Update: 4 p.m. Wednesday The Staunton Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a witness that was inside the Little Caesar’s business last night when the armed robbery occurred.

The witness is described as a black male, stocky build, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information regarding the identity the subject pictured above is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540-332-3842 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-322-2017.

Update: 8:14 a.m. Thursday The witness who had been sought for questioning has spoken with Staunton Police.
