Staunton Guided Tours begins season this weekend

Staunton Guided Tours will begin Saturday Tours on April 3 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Tours will leave every Saturday through October from the Visitors Center at 35 S. New St. The morning tour will be an hour long and include a narrated tour on the Green Line Trolley. The afternoon tour will include the trolley tour and a 10-block walking tour of downtown Staunton and will last about two hours.

The tours give an overview of the city, focusing on the history of Staunton, the unique buildings and the stories about the people who built the city.

Reservations for Saturday tours are not required but are welcome for other dates and times. Sunday morning tours are now available by appointment.

The morning tour is $10 for adults, $5 for youths, and free for children aged 12 and under with paying adults. Afternoon tour is $15 for adults, $7.50 for youths.
