Sentara RMH Heart and Vascular Center hosting free heart health seminar on Feb. 11

The Sentara rmh Heart and Vascular Center will host the free heart health seminar, “Matters of the Heart,” at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the JMU Festival Conference and Student Center.

Sentara_RMHThe seminar will include free blood pressure screenings and presentations by Sentara rmh Heart and Vascular physicians. Presentations include the following:

“Minimally Invasive Cardiac and Thoracic Procedures,” presented by Sentara rmh cardiothoracic surgeon Jerome McDonald, MD.

“The Controversial Role of Statins in the Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease,” presented by Sentara rmh cardiologist Brad Rash, MD.

Sentara rmh experts will be available to speak with participants and answer questions.
