All weekend long, the Salem Red Sox are inviting their fans to help choose the team’s next bobblehead giveaway. Salem’s first ever “Fans’ Choice Bobblehead Night” will be held on Sunday, Aug. 24, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a special collector’s item, featuring the likeness of one of Salem’s recent greats or the team’s beloved mascot.
But starting now and continuing through the weekend, all fans can voice their opinion about what bobblehead should be created for this coveted giveaway!
There are five candidates to be selected from:
- Xander Bogaerts
- Jackie Bradley Jr.
- Daniel Nava
- Garin Cecchini
- Mugsy
The Red Sox strongly encourage all fans to let their voice be heard!
Fans can vote in person by attending any of the games at LewisGale Field this weekend, or they can vote online via the following link: www.surveymonkey.com/s/9PP88M5
The winner of the vote will be announced on Fan Appreciation Day later this season.
The defending champion Salem Sox are hosting the Carolina Mudcats in a four-game series Thursday thru Sunday at LewisGale Field.
