Look at that photo. That’s what Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy did to his girlfriend.
Dude is 6’4’, 278. She’s not even half his size.
A cop saw Nicole Holder walking down a street in Charlotte after Hardy beat her to within an inch of her life and asked her why she was crying.
Her response is haunting today.
“It doesn’t matter,” she said. “Nothing is going to happen to him anyways.”
Not entirely true. Hardy did have to miss a year of his NFL career, poor guy, dealing with legal stuff, but after he bought his way out of trouble, he got picked up by the Dallas Cowboys in the offseason, signed to a one-year, $11.3 million contract.
Hardy was convicted on charges of domestic assault in 2014, but he appealed, and the case was thrown out in February when Holder, ahem, stopped cooperating with authorities.
Attorneys for Hardy then pressed to have the charges expunged from his record, and a judge complied with that request this week.
So officially, it didn’t happen. Except that it did.
Deadspin obtained photos and hundreds of pages of records from the case and published them on Friday.
This photo is just one of dozens of sickening photos.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones calls Hardy a “real leader” who inspires his teammates.
Hardy is a piece of shit who beats up women, threatens them with guns, and has the full support of America’s Team and the NFL.
Keep that in mind next time you come across a pink Cowboys hat or jersey at the mall, about how the price tag represents money that will go into the pockets of that monster, and the men who value his ability to terrorize quarterbacks, girlfriends and whatever else gets in his way.
