The Tim Kaine Senate campaign launched its next TV ad, “No Options,” highlighting Kaine’s support for codifying Roe v. Wade and how Republicans’ national abortion ban would leave Virginia women with no options.

The ad begins with highlighting that Virginia is the last state in the South without an extreme abortion ban. Then, the ad spotlights how Republicans will pass a national abortion ban, while Kaine will work to protect reproductive rights in the U.S. Senate.

“We have seen the consequences from the Supreme Court overturning Roe. v. Wade, where women have died or have had to wait until they are near death to receive the reproductive health care they need. That’s why, after the disastrous ruling, Sen. Kaine got right to work on the only bipartisan bill to codify reproductive rights,” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for Kaine for Virginia.

“Sen. Kaine is fighting to protect women’s reproductive rights in the U.S. Senate and will fight any Republican effort to pass a national abortion ban that would leave Virginia women with no options. The rights of Virginia women are on the ballot this November and Sen. Kaine is the only candidate in this race who will fight to protect reproductive freedom.”

Kaine has served in public office for 30 years and seeks re-election in November to the U.S. Senate in Virginia.

Republicans won’t stop there,” a woman in the ad says.

“They’ll restrict or ban contraception and IVF.”

“Our freedom is on the ballot.”

Tim Kaine will stand up for Virginia women.”
