New book by Staunton author set for October release

EScoverEverywhere Stories: Short Fiction from a Small Planet, edited by Staunton author Clifford Garstang, will be published on October 1, 2014 by Press 53 of Winston-Salem. The book consists of 20 stories by 20 writers set in 20 countries, and is the first in a series of books that will eventually span the globe. The theme for this volume is “It’s a Dangerous World.”

The book is described in more detail in the attached press release. The attached interview with the editor answers frequently asked questions. The biographies of the contributors are also included as well as a jpeg of the cover.

Review copies of the book are available from the publisher upon request. Contact [email protected].

The book will be launched at an event in Staunton at Black Swan Books & Music on Oct. 3 at 6pm. In addition to the editor, two of the contributors–Jay Kauffmann of Crozet and Teresa Hudson of Richmond–will be on hand. Events in Richmond, Charlottesville, and other cities are also planned.
