nationals_logoA night after scoring 16 runs on 23 hits, the Washington Nationals could manage just two hits off Tampa Bay pitching in a 5-0 loss.

Rays manager Kevin Cash, trying to work around having four members of his starting rotation on the disabled list, went with a Johnny Allstaff day on Wednesday, using five pitchers, with starter Steve Geltz going two innings before handing the ball over to Matt Andriese (2-1), who gave up two hits in four innings of work to earn the win.

Jordan Zimmerman (5-5) took the loss for the Nats, giving up three runs on eight hits in seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.
