Update: Missing Augusta County teen has medical condition

Update: April 25, 3:06 p.m. Investigators believe Anibal Pacheco-Matias, 17, may have taken a limited supply of medications with him when he left his Staunton home last week.

They also believe he is in the Harrisonburg area. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call.

Original post: April 19, 7:18 p.m. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a runaway juvenile who was last seen at his Staunton home at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

The juvenile has a medical condition that can be life-threatening if his prescribed medications are not administered regularly.

Anibal Pacheco-Matias, 17, is 5’ 4” 156 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue short and bright orange shorts.

He left home on foot and has ties to Harrisonburg.
