Donna Kinsey, MPA, police major (ret.), provided a very informative and potentially life-saving seminar for 26 East Rockingham Senior Center members and seven volunteers and guests on Dec. 10.
This was the second visit by Maj. Kinsey, and during the nearly hour-long seminar, she spoke about ways that people can avoid falling victim to an attacker and the seven rules to live by.
Maj. Kinsey, who has spearheaded a “Survival Mindset” program that is offered for youth and their parents, is also president and CEO of Tech III (Training Enchancement Center), a company that provides Executive Leadership Training and consulting to public and private organizations across the country.
Today’s seminar was advertised in two local newspapers and brought in several folks from the community to our Center for a visit and to listen to her advice about ways to protect ourselves as well as our personal belongings.
