Eileen Filler-Corn Launches PAC to take back the House of Delegates

eileen filler cornHouse Democratic Leader Eileen Filler-Corn today announced the launch of her new leadership PAC, Energized for Change. Filler-Corn will use the money to help elect and re-elect Democratic members of the Virginia House of Delegates to take back the majority. She has served as Democratic Leader since January 2019 and is the first woman to lead a party in the 400-year history of the Virginia House of Delegates.

“We know from 2017 that Virginians are tired of the status quo in Richmond and are hungry for change. That momentum has not stopped.  We can and will tap into that passion to bring about a House of Delegates that represents all Virginians,” said Filler-Corn.

Leader Filler-Corn is already off to a strong start having raised more money than any General Assembly member or candidate of either party in the House or Senate in their individual account during the first quarter of 2019.  “Democrats are energized to change how business is done in Richmond and we won’t let them down,” added Filler-Corn.

The latest fundraising numbers show that as well.  The House Democratic candidates collectively raised $2.4 million to the Republicans $1.7 million in the first quarter.

Filler-Corn has brought on longtime Virginia fundraiser Jamie Maniscalco as the PAC’s Advisor. Maniscalco currently serves as CEO of Theia Solutions Inc., a fundraising consulting firm and has extensive experience fundraising in Virginia and across the Country.

Energized for Change will be based out of Springfield, Virginia and can be found online atwww.energizedforchange.com.
