waynesboroThe Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission, along with Virginia Regional Transit and the City of Waynesboro, will hold a drop-in style Public Information Meeting regarding proposed improvements to the BRITE Waynesboro Circulator transit route.

Interested parties are invited to stop-in on August 4 from 2-4 PM at the City Council Chambers of the Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building at 503 W. Main St. in Waynesboro to get more information and provide feedback on the route changes.

Improvements to the Waynesboro Circulator route were proposed in the Transit Development Plan for the BRITE transit service that was adopted in August 2015.  Recommended changes to the Staunton transit routes and the 250 Connector routes have been implemented within the past year. The public is encouraged to ride the Waynesboro Circulator route to the meeting or request accommodation by contacting Nancy Gourley, [email protected] (540)885-5174.

The BTAC ensures nondiscrimination and equal employment in all programs and activities in accordance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. If you have questions or concerns about your civil rights in regards to this program or require special assistance for persons with disabilities or limited English proficiency, please contact the BTAC at 540-885-5174.
