Bacon lovers, rejoice! Next weekend, Charlottesville welcomes the return of CURED Bacon Festival and Chef’s Competition at Sprint Pavilion on Saturday, July 21 from 1-5 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and limited VIP passes are available.
Celebrating Charlottesville’s thriving local food scene, CURED will feature local music, local beer and wine with an emphasis on participating area restaurants’ unique bacon-themed tasting plates.

Ticket Information
General Admission and LIMITED VIP tickets are on sale now at CuredFest.com, sprintpavilion.com, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Visitor Center on the downtown mall. General Admission tickets are $35 in advance, $40 day of event. Admission includes a free tasting from each participating restaurant and one voting ballot for the CURED Cup. Each restaurant will also be selling full servings of their offering.
Don’t miss your chance to be VIP! A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75 (must be 21 or older). VIP admission includes early entry at Noon, access to the VIP area on the stage, special VIP only tastings, talks by bacon experts, two beer or wine tickets, and two CURED Cup ballots. The VIP area will feature seating and access to luxury VIP-only restrooms.
Vote to Benefit the Local Food Hub
Following their tastings, patrons can vote for their favorite restaurant by placing a ballot in that restaurant’s ballot box. One voting ballot is included with admission, and additional ballots can be purchased on site. VIP admission includes two voting ballots. Votes are $1 each, and the winning restaurant will be awarded the CURED Cup.
All proceeds from the balloting will benefit the Local Food Hub in Charlottesville, a nonprofit organization that provides access to nutritious, locally farm-sourced food with the vision that knowledge and choice of local food becomes the norm, not the exception, for all segments of the community, and that small farms have a strong economic foothold in the marketplace.
