Charlottesville Fashion Square invites local children, aged 12 years and under who are accompanied by an adult, to enjoy the annual Halloween Spook-Tacular family event and costume contest on Saturday.
During the event, children can stop participating retailers to enjoy the trick-or-treating experience in a safe, climate-controlled environment. Plus, the Spook-Tacular will feature a bounce house, Halloween-themed crafts and entertainment.
To wrap up the frighteningly fun festivities, local children will show off their most creative, spookiest and spectacular costumes during a costume contest in JCPenney Court at 3:30 p.m.Participants must register for the contest prior to 3 p.m. and should note that masks and weapons are prohibited.
