Charlottesville assistant city manager accepts position in Wake County, N.C.

CharlottesvilleCharlottesville Assistant City Manager David Ellis has accepted the position of Deputy County Manager for Wake County, North Carolina.

Ellis’ last day with the City of Charlottesville is March 13, 2015.  He has served as Assistant City Manager for three years.

“Wake County is getting a fine public servant in David Ellis,” said City Manager Maurice Jones.  “David has been a very effective leader in our organization and within our community.  We are sorry to see him leave, but wish him the very best in this new opportunity.”

The City of Charlottesville will begin the search for Ellis’ replacement soon.
