Baltimore wins on another Chris Davis walk-off

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesChris Davis walked off again, this time providing a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift Baltimore to a 6-5 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday in Camden Yards.

The single made a winner of Chaz Roe (3-2, 3.46 ERA), the seventh Orioles pitcher.

The Sox used nine pitchers on the night. Jonathon Aro (0-1, 9.45 ERA) took the loss.

Steve Pearce (11) and Manny Machado (29) homered for the O’s (71-73), who remain in the thick of the American League wild-card race, five and a half games out of the playoffs, with the win.
