The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Saturday with a forecast of 5 inches or more of snow possible during the day.
The precipitation is expected to start as snow before changing over to freezing rain Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures are forecast to rise through the day and into Sunday, with the precipitation changing to rain before it leaves the area on Sunday, with highs that day near 50 degrees.
